Addison, Illinois – On Friday, students at Indian Trail Junior High School in Addison will be the audience for MWAH!, a performing arts troupe that blends music and dance into the telling of real-life stories about hard issues facing teenagers.

The group will have two presentations for Indian Trail students, and the short stories they will perform address teen suicide, child abuse and abusive relationships.

For the presentation's finale, students from the middle school will join the MWAH! teen actors on stage to perform a hip hop dance mix. Several Indian Trail students will also be recognized as school heroes for showing leadership and coping with personal challenges throughout the school year.

MWAH! is a 14-member theater group with teenagers from Wheaton, Warrenville, Naperville, Willowbrook, Yorkville and Aurora. The troupe's name is an acronym for Messages Which Are Hopefull, and the group is associated with Kids Do Count, Inc. and the Chicago Area Project.
